Exhibition Throughout the seasons — Wallpaper Museum, Rixheim

The Rixheim Wallpaper Museum invites Michaël Cailloux to participate in the exhibition Throughout the seasons, dedicated to the representation of the natural cycle in decorative arts and wallpaper.

On this occasion, the artist unveils The four Seasons, a series of wall decorations designed specifically for the exhibition. Between engraving, drawing, and ornamentation, these works offer a personal and poetic vision of the passage of time. Each season is translated through a rich visual vocabulary, where the luxuriance of the line interacts with the abundance of colors.

In this immersive installation, Michaël Cailloux continues his exploration of a plant and symbolic world, on the border between decorative arts and fine arts, asserting a singular and contemporary writing.

Exhibition on display until September 22, 2019, at the Wallpaper Museum, Rixheim.
