Michaël Cailloux pushes the boundaries of engraving by exploring new artistic forms on copper. Each work begins as an engraved plate, then transforms into sculpture under the tools of the coppersmith, taking relief and light. His work plays on volumes and contrasts, where engraving evolves towards sculpture with exceptional precision. Sometimes enhanced with gold or color, his creations reinterpret ancient skills in a resolutely contemporary approach.
