Les émaux de Longwy

Another ambitious project, the creation of Pince-Moi, a unique work representing a winged and anthropomorphized lobster with Les émaux de Longwy. Every detail of this complex design, originally conceived as an etching, must be translated into cloisonné enamel, which requires extreme precision in the drawing and delineation of colors. The challenge is all the greater because the enamel, during firing, slightly changes its hue and texture, requiring numerous adjustments to maintain the richness and depth of the original design. After more than two years of work, this piece becomes a true masterpiece of enameling, embodying both the artisanal excellence of Longwy 1998 enamels, and the poetic vision of Michaël Cailloux.
