Michaël Cailloux pushes the boundaries of engraving by exploring new artistic forms on copper. Each work begins as an engraved plate, then transforms into a sculpture under the coppersmith's tools, taking on relief and light. His work plays on volumes and contrasts, where engraving evolves into sculpture with exceptional precision. Sometimes enhanced with gold or color, his creations reinterpret ancient skills in a resolutely contemporary approach.
